I guess I’m preaching to the choir . . . I think a common misconception that people have is that global warming means the weather where they happen to live should be getting really hot. No, no, no! It means that overall the “global” temperature is increasing. The earth is a very big place; for one person no matter how smart or politicly correct, to claim that “global warming” is a “hoax” because of a particularly cold winter, or because of their “belief” is completely idiotic. There is no way an individual is going to “feel” global warming. . . however it does mean there will be climate changes associated with the increasing average global temperature, These climate changes have already caused problems. Why can’t people see that we MUST err on the side of caution when it comes to the earth, and pay particular attention to the precautionary principle?
